Alex was born at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass. on September 5th, 2001 at 2:30PM. Alex grew up in Plaistow, N.H. until the age of five. He attended Atkinson Academy in preschool. His family moved to Newburyport,MA in order to build a new home. He went to Knolls Edge in West Newbury for some of his preschool years. He always had the lead role in every play they put on. He had such a wonderful personality and was very funny. Then he attended Spawhak in Amesbury for kindergarten. Then he attended the Brown School in Newburyport from 1-4th grade. Two of his good friends were Collin Cuisak and Matt Arsenault. He was a very athletic boy. He started playing hockey at 5 years old. He got his first goal on October 26th, 1997. He was 7 then. He continued playing hockey up to high school Alex could score a goal from the blue line, he was so strong. You also found Alex on the baseball field from a young age.He became quite a first baseman,great pitcher, and a home run hitter throughout the years. He hit more home runs than most out of the Pioneer Park in Newburyport, MA. He also played lacross and his position was goalie. Alex would chase the opponents down the field, no one was getting in his net. He played basketball too; he finally mastered the game in his last two years of his life being 6'3. He got better than all his friends at this game. He was an avid skier and snowboarder. He started at age 5 and loved to go to the various ski resorts in the winter months. His last ski trip was to Sunday River in Maine. His mother took him, his sister Mackenzi and his cousin Chris there for a Christmas present. His cousin Chris and him skied every trail there. They grew up their whole lives together and shared so many good times together. Alex went to Rupert A Knock Middle School in Newburyport grades 5-8th. His best friend there were Greg Short, Mat Walgrin, Corey Ruane and also Jeff Ripucci He was in a play in the 6th grade and played a singing chef. He made the audience laugh. He was very funny and was smiling up on stage from ear to ear. He continued to play sports during those years. He was a linebacker in football. He held his opponents off being a pretty big kid. This was not his favorite sport. He loved baseball. That was Alex's passion. From middle school he walked around the corner to attend Newburyport High School. He played baseball freshman year. He also played basketball that year. Then he transfered to Triton High School in Newbury, MA for sophmore year. He was so close to his cousin Chris and wanted to transfer to Pinkerton Academy in Derry. Chris was going to highschool there. So he transfered there. He went there for 2 years, sophmore and junior years. He made so many wonderful friends there and felt like he fit in there. His cousin led the way for him initially by introducing him to all his friends and then Alex took it from there. He would walk around the campus with 4000 students attending there and it was like he was the mayor there. Everyone seemed to know him. Some of his good friends there were Anthony,Joe,Ben,Sarah,Bryana,Leah,and Kristi. He was thinking about applying to a good culinary school when he graduated.
